Our Craftsmanship
At Don’s Bowl Shop, we specialize in creating unique wooden pieces that showcase the beauty of the wood. Each piece is meticulously crafted to highlight the natural grain and character of the wood or to allow the wood to compliment a particular form, whether it is a bowl, vessel or a platter.
When Don Lewis retired from a career as a petroleum geologist he and his wife settled in Montgomery, Texas where he vigorously began pursuing his interest in wood turning. He is an active member of the Brazos Valley Turners (BVT) based in College Station, Texas, and The American Association of Woodturners.
